Regulations of the race

2. Race Class

Mragowo UCI MTB Marathon will be organized in accordance with the UCI and PZKOL regulations. The Race belongs to scoring of UCI MTB Marathon.

3. Participation

3.1. Contestants can participate in the race with valid UCI licence – Women and Men Elite / UCI in 2019. Every particpant has to show valid licence before competition in the Race Office.

3.2. Application form should be completed and submitted until 12th September 2019 12:00 noon. To participate in the race contestants has to fill in the entry form. Late entries will be accepted after paying 100 CHF. The deadline for the application passed on 14th September 2019, 9:00 PM. The application form is available on

3.3. All participants must have hard stiff helmets accordance with safety rules.

3.4. Team Sport Directors can participate in technical briefing and read the program before each race.

3.5 Adherence to the principles of these regulations and UCI/PZKol provisions is a condition of participation of the race.

4. Race Office

- Saturday, 14th September – 5.00 p.m. – 9.00 p.m.

- Sunday, 15th September – 8.00 a.m. – 9.45 a.m.

5. Trainings

The marked route of Mragowo UCI MTB Marathon will be available on 13th September 2019, 2 p.m. Training will take place without medical support. The organizer isn't responsible for accidents during the training.

6. Classification

The first 40 contestants will get points in ranking of the UCI MTB Marathon in accordance with UCI MTB Marathon regulations.

7. Awards

7.1. In accordance with UCI MTB Marathon regulations - 5 first finishers will receive financial awards.

       1st place – 200 €

       2nd place – 150 €

       3rd place – 100 €

       4th place – 75 €

       5th place - 50 €

7.2. The prize will be paid if the competitor correctly completes the personal details form (identification data, Taxpayer identification number !, Type of the identification number (identity document, full address) Tax identification number or social security number obtained in country of taxpayer’s residence shall be written down. In case of lack of such a number, form should contain number of identity document issued in that country.

7.3. Following the Polish financial law concerning money awards with a value over 2000,00 PLN, 10% flat tax will be deducted, according to art. 30.1 point 2, 20% from foreign, art. 3 paragraph 2a, art. 29 paragraph 1 point 1, art. 13 point 2 of Income Tax on Individuals Act on July 26, 1991 (consolidated text Dz.U. 2016 poz. 2032 z p.zm. ). The tax will be paid by the Organizer of the race to the right office.

8. Technical support

There will be 5 technical zones on the route. Technical support is allowed according to UCI and PZKol. regulations.

9. Adwards Ceremony

Awards ceremonies will take place directly after the races and according to minute programme of the race. Three best Men and Women contestants in classification UCI MTB Maraton will take part in awards ceremony. Competitors on the podium should have sports uniforms.

    10. Penalities

UCI and PZKol regulations are binding on penalties.

    12. Route of the Race

Mragowo UCI MTB Marathon will be conducted on a circular route with the start by the Amphitheatre by the Czos Lake in Mragowo (Jaszczurcza Góra Street) and the finisz by the Amphitheatre by the Czos Lake in Mragowo (Jaszczurcza Góra Street) in Mrągowo.

Details – distance approx. 76 km, height difference - approx. 2300 m

13. Placing competitors in sectors

• sector No 1 – Men

   - according to the ranking UCI MTB Marathon Men

   - according to the ranking UCI MTB XCO Men

   - other contestants with licences starting in UCI UCI MTB Marathon

• sector No 2 – Women

   - according to the ranking UCI MTB Marathon Women

   - according to the ranking UCI MTB XCO Women

   - other contestants with licenses starting in UCI UCI MTB Marathon

• sector No 3 - other contestants

14. Payments

Starting payment to Mragowo UCI MTB Marathon:

70 PLN - paid minimum 10 days before the race

80 PLN - paid till Thursday before the race

100 PLN - paid on Friday before the race

(on the day of the start the paymant must be paid in the Race Office - only cash)

30 PLN - A one-time registration fee will be added to the first start in Milko Mazury MTB Series (start number with chip). Participants can use this number in all Bike Maraton 2019 series.

30 PLN - extra fee for a new start number (in case of damage or losing of the previous)

Entry fee does not apply to competitors who paid for Bike Maraton 2019 start packages before.

Other costs: travel costs, accommodation etc. must be paid by competitors.

15. Jury

UCI commissar – Hubert Emans

Other commisioners will be appointed by PZKOL and the organiser.

16. Anti-doping tests

UCI and PZKol. Anti - doping regulations are binding during the race. Tests will take place in Amphitheatre by the Czos Lake. The passage from the race office to the anti-doping tests room will be marked.

18. Results

Results will be published on results board next to the Race Office and on website www.mazurymtb.pl

Official results will be published at www.pzkol.pl website

19. Final Information

– Final decisions related to the race are taken only by the main commisar and the organizer

– Any additional information will be published on information board at the Race Office – participants and all members of teams must get acquainted with information.

– Participants take part in the race at their own risk.
